Santiago de los Caballeros is the capital city and municipality in the province of Santiago. Located in the heart of the Cibao region, about 155 km northwest of Santo Domingo de Guzman and an average of 175 meters above sea level. The municipality covers an area of 524.03 km ² (the city has 75 km ²) and is bounded on the north by the province of Puerto Plata, on the south by the municipalities of Janice and San Jose de las Matas, the east by the municipalities tambourine, Licey and Dagger, and west by the municipalities Gonzalez and Villa Esperanza.

Great Theatre Of The Cibao
